Collage_2 The Sustainable Growth Summit 2017 has come to an end, in that regard we would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for sharing the last two days with us. We would especially like to thank all our partners and contributors for making the Summit a success.
We hope you enjoyed the Summit, and that we managed to provide valuable insights about Scaling up Action on Sustainability.
So, what are the take home messages from this years’ Summit?
The opportunities that lie in our oceans will not be achieved by itself. We must seize the opportunities by new forms of cross-sector collaboration.
The UNs Sustainability Goals provide us with a roadmap for the future we want. What we now need, is effective and concerted actions.
This will require a clear understanding on sustainability.
Together we can increase our investments in innovation to harvest our ocean opportunities. We can only succeed by collaboration. The Seafood Innovation Cluster has committed business, science and government to a longstanding and binding sustainable partnership.
