Innovation by Ocean Technology Crossover
GCE Subsea, Deloitte and NCE Seafood Innovation invited partners and members within Subsea and Aquaculture to explore the crossover potential between oil & gas and aquaculture. The project arranged an all day excursion to two of Lerøy Seafood’s locations in Osterfjorden. More than 30 persons from subsea and aquaculture together with Hordaland County Council participated.
After visiting the production facilities, the participants convened at Alver Hotel to interesting presentations from Lerøy Seafood Group, Marine Harvest and Hauge Aqua. After the presentations, the participants discussed possible crossover topics in a very fruitful workshop where some om the potential areas for crossover where identified. The project will now proceed with more in-depth projects to explore this further.
