30715467_1681303881953327_7943515015787577344_n This april, the aquaculture capital Bergen will host the world first aquaculture hackathon. Attendees will compete for both cash prizes and actual opportunities to create new solutions for the aquaculture industry.

AquaHack will gather people from all around the world for an intense and exciting 40 hour case competition focused on solving problems in aquaculture with the help of data. We are aiming at 20 teams with 3-5 people in each team, preferably with diverse backgrounds to enhance the probability of innovation. Food, drinks and snacks will of course be provided for free. On the last day, presentations will take place in front of a crowd consisting of members from the whole ecosystem such as professors, industry experts, journalists, investors, students and farmers.  

We have strong support from the aquaculture industry with partners such as NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster, Hatch, IBM, Deloitte & Innovasjonsgruppen for Havbruk & Sjømat.
