FISH FUTURES - COMPETENCE FORUM AT STOCKHOLM FOOD FORUM
This week, our partner, EAT Foundation once again gathered 500 of the brightest minds from the fields of science, politics, business and civil society at the Clarion Hotel Sign in Stockholm at Stockholm Food Forum. Our seafood partners hosted one of the Competence Forums this year, and on the agenda was “Fish Futures – sustainable seafood to support the SDGs”.
Fish Futures – Competence Forum at EAT Stockholm Food Forum 2017
The Competence Forum convened innovative wild-capture seafood and aquaculture production companies, key decision makers, leading scientists, and multinational NGOs to discuss new frontiers in supporting the global demand for sustainable and socially responsible seafood. The forum discussed possible strategies and partnerships that will ensure that the seafood production system actively contributes to thriving communities and companies, as well as healthy biosphere. Interactive discussions were centered on how to herness the power of production sector and global actors to shift towards sustainable production and consumption of seafood in wild-capture fisheries and aquaculture.
