Students visiting from American University Washington D.C.
Together with our partners NHH and Marine Harvest, 16 students visited Bergen last week for an introduction to the aquaculture industry.
They are master students in corporate entrepreneurship, using cases from Marine Harvest. The collaboration program is financed by SiU.
“As a Norwegian Center of Expertise, international knowledge collaboration is an important strategic pillar to strengthen knowledge capacity within the Center. Our main responsibility from the Seafood Innovation Cluster is to provide relevant industrial input in this case, from Marine Harvest, during the development of the course and to contribute to the definition of business projects for the students”, says Managing Director Tanja Hoel.
The students got an introduction to innovation collaboration within the Cluster and together with our cluster partner GCE Subsea. Hauge Aqua presented “The EGG”, a new production platform for Salmon Farming.
