Innovation Norway has granted NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster and GCE Subsea partial funding of a new joint EU advisor position.

Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). The EU advisor will be working closely with the cluster companies with identifying relevant EU calls and producing top quality applications for project funding to increase our partners funding capacity. The position is funded for 2 years, with an optional 2 years’ extension. The position will be advertised after the summer holiday.

Strengthening the Clusters

The main goal is to mobilize to increased participation in international RDI projects, which will strengthen the knowledge base and competitiveness of the cluster companies. The EU research and innovation programmes are key instruments in achieving this.

The EU Advisor will especially contribute in strengthening RDI cooperation in the food and ocean industries on themes where the subsea and seafood clusters are world leading.

Blue Growth
